MY JOURNEY TO WISDOM

For years I found myself encouraging, praying and uplifting individuals through life's challenges of brokenness, disappointments and pain that would cause them to seek shelter. These experiences left me wondering about my purpose in relation to ministering to the wounds and sorrows of others. I decided to pray and ask God how to fulfill my hearts desire to lead individuals to know the Lord more and receive healing. Through prayer, fasting and scripture God revealed my own brokenness and pain which allowed me to embrace and accept healing in ways I could never imagine. My journey to understand my purpose, claim my destiny and know my worth lead me to receive healing through a Spiritual Director turned Mentor in sacred space. She told me that everything I needed was already in me. As I listened to the voice of God intently, I heard Him say "Wisdom Builds Her House." I did not know what it meant, or how this journey would take me into places of the unknown, but my trust and faith in what I believed for myself burned on the inside and I knew that something needed to happen. In November 2005 I gave spiritual birth to "Wisdom Builds Her House Ministry" during a retreat for individuals who were broken, lost, grieved and in pain. That's when I realized everything I needed was not just in me but given to me through gifts and talents to lead others on a spiritual journey, guided by WISDOM.
